Cory Doctorow, famed for his Cory doctorow ، لتقريره الشهير debunking of DRM technology الفضح للتكنولوجيا لأدارة الحقوق الرقميه , writes ، كتب an excellent article on the net neutrality issue المادة ممتازة على شبكة الانترنت مسألة الحياد , or “internet freedom” as I like to call it. ، او "حرية الانترنت" كما احب ان اسميها. He drives home some important points: وقال انه يدفع بعض النقاط الهامة الصفحه الرئيسية :

…there are few industries that owe their existence to regulation as much as the carriers. … هناك عدد قليل من الصناعات التي ندين وجودها على اللاءحه بقدر ما الناقلين. These companies are gigantic corporate welfare bums, having received the invaluable boon of a set of rights-of-way leading into every basement in America. هذه الشركات العملاقه للشركات الرعايه المتشردون ، وقد تلقت نعمة لا تقدر بثمن من مجموعة من حقوق الطريق المؤدي الى الطابق السفلي في كل امريكا. Phone companies have a legal right to force you to provide access to your home for their pipes. شركات الهاتف يكون لها الحق القانوني في قوة لكم على اتاحة امكانيه الوصول الى منزلك لانابيب. This in itself could lead to issues for service providers whose support costs would skyrocket with overly anxious users worrying about every blip and stutter in their service. وهذا في حد ذاته يمكن ان يؤدي الى القضايا لمقدمي الخدمات الذين تكاليف الدعم من شأنه ان يكون الارتفاع بشكل مفرط مع قلق قلق ازاء كل المستخدمين والاشارة التعتعه في خدمتهم. And it would probably raise the barrier of entry into the business since noone could get away with providing a mediocre service…Perhaps regulation would hurt the internet? وانه من المحتمل ان رفع الحاجز للدخول الى قطاع الاعمال حيث لا يمكن لأحد أن تفلت من العقاب متوسط توفير الخدمات… ولعل تنظيم من شأنه ان يضر الانترنت؟ Make it less accessible? جعله التي يصعب الوصول اليها؟ Hmmm. Now I am confused. الآن انا الخلط. So let me fall back on my belief that all business issues, politics and lobbying aside, the internet will continue to thrive with or without regulation . ولذلك اسمحوا لي ان تعود على اعتقادي ان جميع القضايا التجارية والسياسة والضغط جانبا ، وشبكة الانترنت وستواصل تزدهر مع او بدون تنظيم.

The internet wasn’t planned. شبكة الانترنت لم يكن مخططا له. It is a network which emerges from human interaction and will continue to be driven by our collective desires and needs. فهو لا يعتمد على المعلومات التي تنبثق عن التفاعل الانساني وستواصل يكون الدافع وراء التزامنا الجماعي ورغباتهم واحتياجاتهم. Anything that tries to be otherwise is not the internet. اي شىء يحاول ان يكون الامر خلاف ذلك ليست شبكة الانترنت.

Regulation can probably only exist to define the bounds of acceptable behaviour on the ‘net, and even then it fights a losing battle against human nature. الأرجح ان التنظيم يمكن أن توجد إلا لتحديد حدود السلوك المقبول علي الصافي ، وحتى في ذلك الحين انها تحارب معركة خاسرة ضد الطبيعة البشريه.
